How often should you actually retest?
A simple schedule: annually if things are steady, twelve weeks after any change worth measuring.

The honest answer is less often than most testing companies would like. Markers move at different speeds, and retesting faster than a marker can change tells you nothing except how much noise your assay has.
A workable rhythm
A full panel once a year is enough for most healthy adults. After starting a supplement, a medication or a serious training block, retest the specific markers at twelve weeks — long enough to move, short enough to act.
The exceptions
Ferritin after iron therapy, HbA1c after a metabolic change, and thyroid after a borderline result all deserve their own timeline. Lp(a) you measure once and never again.
Your report always names the markers worth rechecking and when — so you are not guessing between appointments.
